REPUBLIC SERVICES (TRASH)

Republic Services provides waste collection services to the City of Friona. They provide non-hazardous solid waste and recycling services for commercial, industrial, municipal and residential customers. Trash is picked up Tuesdays – Fridays. For questions regarding trash and waste service, please call the City at (806) 250-2761.

You can put almost anything in a dumpster, but that doesn’t mean you should. There are a few items you can’t throw out in a dumpster due to safety hazards and local restrictions. If you’re not sure if you can put a particular item in a City of Friona dumpster, check the list below or call the City:

*You can dump these materials in the City’s roll-off box located at East 8th and South Jackson Avenue. To make a weekday appointment, call the City. Starting in May, the City’s roll-off box will be open the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. No appointment needed.

Tires, Oil and Tree Limbs
None of these are accepted in the roll-off box. To dispose of tires or oil, please contact the City. There is a designated area near the City’s roll-off box for tree limbs.
