Mobile Food Vendor: Operational Permit Application
NEW MOBILE FOOD UNIT PERMIT
On April 11, 2022, the Friona City Council passed a Mobile Food Unit permit to regulate this industry and preserve the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Friona. In order to obtain a permit, you must complete a permit application to submit to the City of Friona along with:
1) Permit from the Texas Department of State Health Services,
2) Valid copy of your sales tax permit issued by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts,
3) Valid copy of the food handler permit for the mobile food unit’s certified food protection manager,
4) Letter signed by the property owner/operator, giving permission for the mobile food unit to operate on their property, and
5) A copy of your menu.
The City of Friona can also request any other documentation deemed necessary to protect the public’s health.
