The Friona Community Center's intended use is to provide a space for activities that members of the community can use. The Community Center host several events throughout the year such as Stock Show, the Chamber Banquet, Quinceañeras, and parties. In order to rent the Community Center you must contact the city and set up a time and date.

The City’s Visitor Impact Commission was tasked by the Friona City Council to examine the Friona Community Center and recommend a list of improvements and prioritize them based on need. The first of the two improvements will take place in mid-March 2020 as the Roof Repair/Replacement and HVAC Repair/Replacement Projects begin. What’s next? Maybe a restroom remodel or kitchen redesign. Or maybe even new appliances and or landscaping. Stay tuned for more exciting developments coming to the Friona Community Center!
