Our Human Resources & Finance department is overseen by Pamela Mercado.
Within our Human Resources department, Mrs. Mercado is responsible for directing insurance, payroll, and retirement. For future employment, Mrs. Mercado oversees applications along side with the City Manager, and she also supervises any employee conflict that may arise within the work force. To maintain policies and procedures, Mrs. Mercado arranges the City of Friona Personnel Manual. Mrs. Mercado manages the City of Friona finances, also she collaborate with the City Manager to create the budget.
