Friona EMS employees will be conducting emergency vehicle operations training in the area of HWY 214 north of Friona. At times, the ambulance will be operating with lights and sirens. Do not be alarmed. And as always, Friona EMS will continue to respond to emergencies during this time.
Friona is hosting another mobile testing event next Monday, June 15th at Calvary Baptist Church from 10am-6pm. Reservations will still need to be made via phone or online. See pic for info.

The City has decided not to open the swimming pool this summer. After researching best practices for pools amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we don't feel we can meet the best practice standards. Also, with the rising number of COVID-19 cases being reported in Parmer County, it just doesn't seem like a good idea at this time. We look forward to the 2021 swimming season.
We had over 40 people visit us last Saturday at the roll-off. So, we've decided to open the roll-off again this Saturday, May 9th from 10am - 3pm. We will be open until we fill up the roll-off. Once the roll-off is full, we'll shut the doors. Get there early and don't miss out on the chance to clear that clutter from your home!
