Mass Casualty Incident Training

The City of Friona First Responders, Parmer County Sherriff’s Office and the Friona Independent School District is partnering to hold a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) Training on July 29, 2023. The training will be held at the Friona High School Campus located at 810 W 7th St, Friona, TX 79035.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION:

Volunteers will need to meet at the Friona High School Cafeteria at 7:30 am. Each volunteer will need to be checked to make sure that there are no weapons brought into the building. Safety is of upmost importance. All volunteers and participants will need to sign a waiver. You will then be directed to where you should be and then will be given information on what your role will be in the scenario. We will be running through multiple scenarios in which you will have to be as realistic as possible in order for the training to be as efficient as possible.

FIRST RESPONDER INFORMATION:

First Responders will need to meet at a the Friona High School Activity Center at 8:00 am. . Table top: First Responders will go over what the goals for the day are. Scenarios will begin and will be assessed to see where improvements can be made.

LUNCH

Cargill will be providing steaks for the event and the Lion’s Club will be making their famous fries.

****Volunteers will need to wear clothing that can be cut or damaged. Please do not bring any pocket knives or weapons of any sport. Long sleeves and long pants are preferred and highly recommended.
