The City of Friona will be hosting an open house to gather input from the community on a yard parking ordinance and program. This ordinance would create a voluntary program that would prohibit parking vehicles in the front or side yard of a residence except in a driveway or a paved parking space. The ordinance would not prohibit parking on a public street.

Before presenting a final recommendation to the City Council at their meeting on August 13th, City Manager Lee Davila would like to hear your thoughts on the program. To learn more about the program and provide your input, please come by Friona Council Chambers, 619 Main Street, anytime between 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018.
